As part of a music composition elective available at the U of S department of music, students enrolled in the class were assigned solos, duos, and ensembles, and composed a 5 minute piece for the participating group.

I got the chance to revisit some of my saxophone chamber music while touring and recording with some of the best musicians in Western Canada, who also happen to be great friends.

The 2019 festival had four main concerts featuring twenty composers, ten of them from Saskatchewan; one masterclass; and three receptions where members of the public had a chance to meet and chat with composers.

A treasure trove of musical scores written by a pivotal figure in 20th century German music has been resurrected from a Saskatoon basement.

A collaboration project that I initiated and organized with St. Paul’s Cathedral in Saskatoon to raise funds for the magnificent proposed pipe organ at Holy Family Cathedral.
