A collaboration project that I initiated and organized with St. Paul’s Cathedral in Saskatoon to raise funds for the magnificent proposed pipe organ at Holy Family Cathedral. The following is a publicity description of the event:
Musicam Sacram is pleased to present “Vox Domini: An Evening of Sacred Music for Organ and Choir.”
This beautiful annual event, now in its second year, features the choral and instrumental music of some of the greatest stars of composition of our time and of days gone by.
We invite all people to enter into the mystery of music via the live performance of a team of professional singers and musicians who have come together in this endeavor to provide a true encounter with beauty.
This special event will be hosted at St. Paul’s Catholic Co-Cathedral in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, which features an original 1912 Casavant pipe organ and Romanesque architecture that lends itself to the amplifying of the experience in both sight and sound.
