A collaboration with guitarist Peter Stoicheff, and the University of Saskatchewan Greystone singers lead by Gerald Langner. Arranged for choir using an original melody by Peter Stoicheff and a traditional guitar piece. This traditional folk-tune used by the guitar is attributed to Fernando Sor (1776-1839) and Antonio Rubira. Layered and intertwined with Stoicheff’s original melody, both English and Spanish text, and subtle counterpoint, this piece is a haunting, evocative and melancholy work of loneliness and the warm Spanish night.
